Saw them open for Blue Rodeo in Chicago a couple of weeks ago, twas an excellent performance :thumb:

What a great show in Calgary last night. The place was packed and the crowd was really into it with plenty of sing-a-longs during the quieter numbers. They played a couple of cool covers during the encore: Neil Young's "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere" and Gordon Lightfoot's "Alberta Bound", both of which got huge responses from the audience. I hadn't seen these guys live in quite some time and I almost forgot how hard they rock. Not to mention how loud they can get during certain songs (Failure to Some, Promises, Another Day in Purgatory). My ears are still ringing. If there's anybody here that hasn't seen these guys live yet, I highly recommend that all of you check them out. They're easily one of the best Canadian bands out there right now.

That is THE MOST comprehensive tour of the Maritimes by any band, ever, I 'd say. They're only missing out on Bat'urss, Baddeck, & Tignish.

I just saw that Sarah Harmer is touring the maritimes in late October/early November. I think I might have to check out that November 3 show in Summerside. The last time I saw her at that venue, I had a great time. Her new album is really, really, really good.
