"thehip dot com" lasts about 2 seconds...then redirects to "linkbucks dot com" which is giant whatthefuckery.
My GF is sitting here saying maybe you didn't renew the site or something or other, but if you just google "thehip" I am free to browse the gift shop, which was my target destination in the first place.
Just lettin you know.
Anyone else have this weirdo thing happen to them?

Yup, me three. It's only the home page. I don't remember what's up there... maybe that google talk box thing? This is caused by someone putting some malicious code into a comment that runs a redirect script. That page is calling scripts from:
google-analytics.com
linkbucks.com
51.la
apple.com
setheo.com
quantserve.com
qvvo.com
cams.com
thehip.com
Some of which are fine, and some of which are being inserted. It's some asshole trying to make money (someone gets a few cents every time someone clicks his linkbucks link; in this case, no one actually has to click at all). It's not going to give anyone a virus or anything, but there's no way to look at the Hip's homepage right now without noscript.

Yes, I was in Belleville when it happened. It's "fixed" though it will keep happening until I figure out how to shut it out - it's some robot . . .
