Toronto Zoo - Smokey - 06-07-2010

Folks,
Morning. heading from BUF up to the T.O Zoo this weekend with the little ones.

Any pointers out there? Never been there before.

Anything information will be welcomed.

Thanks. That seems to be the most common answer I have heard. Bring comfy shoes.
Any place around there to catch the UFC fights on Sat. night?

I am staying at the Delta East Hotel I believe.

Try to get there early, less of a crowd and better chance to see the animals when its cooler, before they go looking for shade.

There is a good little splashworks water area for the kids too, so bring the bathing suits for them.

I've been told the tram isn't worth it, you don't really see anything from it.

Unless you're in the mood for a steep kilometer up hill walk back from the Moose/bald eagle/grizzly bear exhibits, skip them.

+1 on the splash pad, it is a great way to cool off....for the parents too.

go early... go straight to the back of the zoo and work forward,,, less crowded that way
