To me these songs couldnt be more different, and I enjoy them both immensly, for different reasons.

Understood, but how much (if at all) should the songs live performance (or lack thereof) influence judging for this contest?
And how do you know the band wouldnt love to play the song live, but is unsure of how it would be accepted.
Ex) Throwing Off Glass appearances this tour.
