Times Are Passing Us By - New Studio Recording - dcrann11 - 11-11-2009
Hi
My Name is Darrin Cranney. I have released a new solo recording - "Echoes of Voices". Rob Baker appears on two of the tracks which were recorded at Bathouse. 1) Big Wally's Coliseum - written for Walter Gretzky - has a brilliant lead performance by Robbie. 2) "In Mind" has some of his amazing slide work on it.
Even more special is the version of "Times Are Passing Us By" - which was given special permission by Gord S (who wrote it - and gave me the official version of the lyrics - the correct ones!) .As you know this is a particularly special tune and I was humbled with the opportunity to record it.
You can check out www.darrincranney.com to see some great footage of Robbie tracking at the Bathouse under the Media Section.
Echoes of Voices is now on iTunes.
