Hip Vinyl Art -
Shane Kroeker - 11-04-2009
Today (November 4, 2009), Daniel Edlen announced via twitter that he "Found a great photo of Gord Downie taken by Dylan Neild to inspire my painting of the Tragically Hip singer."
Once the work is complete, Hipbasers should be able to order their own for approximately $175USD. How great would that look in a rec room?

WOW those look amazing! Not a bad price considering what unique art it is. And
cool unique art at that, as opposed to wanky unique art. Would love to see what the one of Gordie looks like.

And it would have to be on a Hip vinyl, i am assuming. So would it be on copies of WATS? or... would it just be a blank vinyl?

I'm thinking he uses the one of the artists LP's.
Apparently you can provide him with the vinyl and receive $10 off. Dust off your old copy of "Up to Here"!

Visit the blog site and ask the question to Daniel. Anyone interested can expect to pay $350 US for a framed copy, or $250 unframed.
He has the second LP from the WATS painting used in the photo (along with the paper insert), so you would not need to supply your own.
