Does anyone know the huge black guys name that wanders around all the hip shows?

I'd tell you his name was Rick, but then he would squeeze the life out of me with his pinky.

He is a pretty focused serious guy and I can't say he is really into introductions but good luck anyway :thumb:

I asked him about a set list at one of the massey shows and he said he'd see what he could do. I didn't get a setlist... WHAT A DICK!

If you wish to see Mr. Rick in a moment where he is actually enjoying himself checkout the DVD, live from Bala 07/04/2007 during "blow at high dough" Mr. Kirkpatrick catches him actually enjoying himself!!!

What? Did he slowly move his head up and down once to imitate a head banging motion?

maybe if he was handing out a setlist after a show, and he recognized you, he might be inclined to pass it your way? you never introduced yourself to a member of the hips entourage chris?

No. I've been introduced to Hip team members by folks who already knew them and me but that's it.

I stayed after one show in Winnipeg here for autographs and such and this guy came out, he's pretty intense. And very intimidating. Kept telling us to "hurry up hurry up" and "next person, come on, let's go!"
Then Gordie comes out last and the security dude pulls the same stuff of course, and I mean, we're all being respectful and whatnot. But Gordie totally ignored everything this guy was saying

You know, someone would ask for a picture and at that second, the person's camera runs out of battery right? So Mr Security is all "come on come on, lets go, next person next person" and Gordie is just like, nah thats okay, we'll wait for you to figure it out. Someone else had a camera so they took the picture, but then the person with that camera wanted a picture and then of course more people want pictures and the security guy gets more and more insistent and security-like, and Gordie just kept posing for pictures on his own will almost like he was saying "dont worry about whatever this guy over here is saying."
Idunno....I mean, I know we're all fanatic fans but are we really that threatening? I suppose on any given night they could run into a lot of drunk people.

Drunk is not the real problem/worry.
Some people in this world just do not have a good head on their shoulders.
