So, what is it about Gordy... - silverjet27 - 06-06-2009

Okay ladies.. (and gentlemen, feel free to comment, as well..)

What is it about Gordon Downie that makes him so damn irresistible? There's always been something sexy about him, and lately I've been trying to figure out exactly what it is..

Don't know if it's his mysterious demeanor, his facial expressions, the way he sings and rants, or what. Having been a Hip follower for about 9 years now, I still don't know what it is about that man. Either way, I want to know if it's just me, and if not - what it is about him that keeps you coming back for more.

After being front row at House of Blues in Cleveland, and front row at Artpark on Thursday night, I feel like I can't get enough! (And am kicking myself for telling my husband "no" to tonight's show at Artpark when they went on sale!)

Maybe it was when he looked me straight in the eye on Thursday during The Last Recluse and sang "In the night, I watch a bomb go off in a young girl's life."

Just a side note to the men, don't worry - I'm a true Hip fan that loves them for their music and performances first and foremost, and that is truly what keeps me coming back for more. However, I need to get down to the bottom of this. And for the record, I will admit that I love Billy Ray simply because he is hot and because he punched that drunk asshole last night!

Mmmmmmmmm Gordy........ I'm so with ya on this one.

Dunno what it is either but he is by far the most charismatic male performer I've ever seen. Quirky, unpredictable......

Me too..haha.

It makes me sad to think that I don't have any more Hip shows in the near future. We have a wedding during the Rochester show, and we didn't get Hamilton tickets. Maybe I'll have to change that to have something to look forward to after the new school year begins...

wanna know something funny?

My landlord looks just like Gordie except an extremely gay version of him. and his partner loves the hip!!! It's so funny when I go visit them. They mentioned something about a bar that the boys go to after playing here in Rochester. looks like I may have to look into this matter 0_o
