Anyone know when tix go on sale? I no longer get emails from the Hip, for some odd reason, and the date is not listed on thehip.com

Re: Halifax show on July 4. - Hammer - 05-05-2009

Stupid question here for sure, but have you checked your junk mail Rory? That's where mine went for some reason :x

I didn't notice an "on sale" date for the tickets in the e-mail though. The show was simply added into the middle of all of the other upcoming shows, as if the show had been announced previously.

Either way, WOOHOO :thumb:

There is some discussion out there that it is going to be Virgin Festival.
Either way I am looking forward to the show.

And a couple people had issues with their mail recently and were told by MAv to make sure in the preferences on TheHip.com that the box for mail delivery was checked.

I would definitely prefer an indoor show. I might still go, though. We'll see what happens.

I've heard Montreal are supposed to announce their Virgin Festival acts today, so hopefully that'll mean Halifax isn't too far behind. There's lots of rumors that Stone Temple Pilots are going to be on the bill as well, as well as another big bands from the 90's. Someone pointed out that Offspring are playing in Quebec City the night before, and that they've played V-Fest in the past, so maybe it'll be them. Either way, STP & The Hip sounds pretty good to me. It'll have to be a pretty good line-up though for me to go, as much as i love The Hip, i already have tickets for John Fogerty in Moncton, AC/DC in Moncton, and, gulp, Kiss in Halifax.

Re: Halifax show on July 4. - ryan93 - 05-06-2009

Damn, i actually just heard the Montreal line-up, it's not good lol.

New Kids on the Block
Pussycat Dolls
Eva Avila
Hedley
Simple Plan
New Cities
Akon
Live (at least there's 1 decent band)
Divine Brown
and more....

Fogerty in Moncton? He's playing on the Island, man. Smile When you go to the KISS show, you should probably take a rifle with you 'cause there'll be a ton of cougars on the prowl and I hear they can be dangerous if you're unarmed.
