Gord Interview on Q - Billy - 04-16-2009

I am listening to Jian Ghomeshi's interview with Leonard Cohen right now, excellent interview by the way, and just before the 2nd half, Jian announced a 1 hour interview with Gord Downie that will take place some time next week. I didn't catch which day it was on, so if you're interested you will have to check http://www.cbc.ca/q/ for the date. As well, for those not able to get CBC radio, there is a link to listen live on the internet.

Wait a minute, that guy who appeared in At the Quinte Hotel, Trailer Park Boys movie as a cop, and One Week is also the lead singer of some band called the Tragically Hip? It's obvious the only reason people are talking about this band right now is because of Gord Downie's acting career. That Jian Ghomeshi asshole would sure look like a dick if he asked Gord about his prominent acting background.

So I just checked out The Tragically Hips, the band Gord is supposed to sing in... I mean we can all agree on his acting abilities but he's not much of a singer, is he? Needs to go back to singing school is what I'm sayin'!

Did he really just ask about Killerwhaletank? Every time Jian opens his mouth I curse him for King of Spain and support Billy Bob.

That said, it's cool to hear Double Suicide was part of a screenplay at film school.
