Email the following with your thoughts of not getting the CD on the 7th from the Ticketmaster ticket pre-sale. I was told the CD should arrive by end of next week.

It is unfortunate that the CD did not arrive at my residence the day it was released. If all the stores across Canada can receive the CD for sale on Tuesday April 7th, there is no reason that die hard Hip fans who bought pre-sale tickets along with the new CD can’t get it the day it comes out. Considering the purchase was placed March 3rd, six weeks ago, processes should have been put in place to make sure it happened.



I am not the only one that is extremely disappointed in this transaction, many fans of The Hip who made the same purchase have expressed anger and disappointment. I am not sure who is at fault with this delay but it should be recognized as a complete failure.[/b]

bobbycaygeon is right in that umusic, Maple, Ticketmaster, etc, etc should have had the disc in the mail/courier before the due date so that fans would receive it on release date. They screwed up. I sent a note off but have not received a response.

Perhaps the mods could combine all the threads....

What a die hard fan is frustrated about still not being able to hear the new album? Where could he go to kvetch and fish for sympathy? Maybe a Hip fan site (or THE Hip fan site)? Apparently not, because people who have the album will mock him. ???

this is the internet not real life, if its a hug he wants he can run home to mommy.

if he wants to come round here looking for a sympathetic ear good for him, im sure somone will oblige him.

i do what i feel and if anyone here doesnt like it, they can just hit the ignore button or get lost.
