The Hip in The Hammer video release? (Subject to truthiness) -

On the Hip's discography wikipedia page, they list "The Hip in The Hammer" as a 2010 video release?
Does anybody know where this came from?

I know wikipedia is known for being unreliable... but usually the false things on it dont come out of thin air.
Sorry if I'm stirring up the rumour mill, but I was jsut curious if anyone has heard anything?

Let's keep our fingers crossed that it's not just wiki-BS. It's kinda strange that no one heard about this first. I mean, someone had to post it there. I doubt the Hip or the people in the know at Hip-HQ check and/or update their wikipedia page.

It also lists Speed River as another single released from We Are the Same. Foreshadowing perhaps?? The Hip in the Hammer DVD, plus the rumour of the Hamilton Place Shows is going to make this fall very interesting at home....
EDIT: Sorry, didn't see there was a thread on Speed River already.

I believe it's a typo... Should be "The Hip and the Hammer"
Now you all know who that mysterious 6th person was on the cover of WATS

Sadly the people who changed them are unregistered Wiki Users (i.e. we can just see their IP's) the speed river and video thing were done by "different" users though, so.....Im not totally sure what that means....not necessarily different people...different networks and location though...unless they have some sort of variable IP generator and then I doubt it someone credible.

I'll tell you today. Duped. Not true. Not sure where that info came from or why, but none of it is correct.

What's the dupe MAv? The question about the show tomorrow (actually tonight), which I think we all presumed was a joke. The DVD release? Or what about the rumours of the fall show in Hamilton? Is that not true, or can you comment on it at all?
Thanks, and welcome back and congratulations..

well heres the tale that has now come to be an april fools gag. I go to Mohawk College in Hamilton. Yesterday morning I arrive at school in the morning to see a huge banner on the outside of the school saying "The Hip this Wednesday in the Arnie (the campus bar) Doors at 8, ticket under 20 bucks, tickets at the door only". I almost didnt even pay attention to the banner right away thinking it was the Practically Hip. I walk into school to see a bunch of posters with this on it all over the school so I thought i'd better check into it, nothing on the hip site, nothing on hip base, we got in contact with the person who does the bookings for the school and he said yep its true "charity show as a warmup for their tour". So we all right away thought ok well tomorrow is April Fools but this sounds legit. Today, leary we kept hovering around the campus bar. Noon hour, we see techies putting up stage lights. Go back at 1 pm, stage setup going on, huge speaker stacks and audio equipment loading in. For shows there nothing ever generally starts happening until 5 or so. The speaker stacks were about five times the size of any other show that has ever been there so we all thought jeez this must be legit. Half hour later....new posters go up "april fools, the pratically hip tonight free at the arnie"
