Match-up #9 - Opiated Vs. Wheat Kings
I ask you to listen to the two songs in the match-up Back to Back, and consider the lyrics of the song. Feel free to post an unbiased analysis of both songs in this thread, but please refrain from cheerleading or making predictions for your favourites.
As always, you can hear both songs played back to back streaming online at http://www.power97.com at 11PM CST, 12AM EST.

Man that version of Opiated on the one Vault is cool....
Re: Match Up - #9 - EPenguin10 - 03-24-2009
I truly appreciate Opiated, and this is definately not going the way I thought it would. In fact, I remember the same thing happening last year when it went up against Chagrin Falls.
Re: Match Up - #9 - sean.bonner - 03-24-2009
Easiest choice for me yet.
Opie-ated.
Re: Match Up - #9 - TG - 03-24-2009
Haven't voted yet. This one is so tough.
Every other match up didn't take too much deliberation but this one has me torn.
Re: Match Up - #9 - BrenTheodore - 03-24-2009
Seems like the closest match up yet.
Re: Match Up - #9 - JT_Stone - 03-24-2009
I wanted to vote for both tunes, yet I have Wheat Kings in my final four.....
Re: Match Up - #9 - The Travellin Man - 03-24-2009
Had to go with Wheat Kings on this one.
Re: Match Up - #9 - Dark Canuck17 - 03-24-2009

Re: Match Up - #9 - EPenguin10 - 03-25-2009
TIED! the most votes we've seen so far this year is 45. We're currently at 42...those three can break this...
Re: Match Up - #9 - trevor - 03-25-2009
Yikes! Should be a tie in my opinion!
Re: Match Up - #9 - emperpenguin - 03-25-2009
i love wheat kings
Re: Match Up - #9 - sean.bonner - 03-25-2009
24-22.
Kinda shocking how a power house like Wheat Kings makes a first round exit in 09.
But there's a good reason... Opiated kicks ass.
