Match-up #5 - 50 Mission Cap Vs. Silver Jet
Listen to the two songs in the match-up Back to Back, and consider the lyrics of the song. Feel free to post an unbiased analysis of both songs in this thread, but please refrain from cheerleading or making predictions for your favourites.

This one is tough I know Silver Jet does not get much love but it is a great song...I have to think about this one :?

easy pick for me....50 mission never gets old
Re: Match up - #5 - MattyM - 03-20-2009
Man, I love both these tracks... so I had to go with the underdog!
Re: Match up - #5 - WesleyC. - 03-20-2009
My final decision was made by the fact that when 50 mission cap is over I felt they could have gone a bit longer.
with Silver Jets I had a feeling they could have stopped the song 30 seconds sooner. So 50MC wins for that reason with me.

50MC always does well in the first round but doesn't have the legs to go deep into the tournament. Great tune but I suspect it will fall in the next round.

I had to go with 50MC
But I absolutely love the line " there's a heron outside in violet light"

You're about to love it even more. It's actually, "Inviolate light"

Really? I always thought it was "in violet light", same as the title of the album
