with multiple nights...set one could be one of the first 4 records from start to finish and changing the first set each night, set 2 a mix of newer material.

Everyone has their dream setlists, but here is how I expect The Hip to go about choosing songs:
6 or 7 songs from the new album.
9 of 10 songs from the must play pile.( Blow, NOIS, ABAC, BobC, Courage, Little Bones, Meridian, Grace Too, Nautical, M@W)
8 of 10 songs from the should play pile. (Poets, Fireworks, Wheat Kings, In View, Ocean, Scared, Verge, Locked, Good Life, Springtime)
4 of 10 from the occasional play pile. ( Gus, Lake Fever, Escape, 50 Mission, LEOTR, Family Band, Chagrin, 3 Pistols, LTR, Gift Shop)
That leaves 2 or 3 from the " Pleasantly Surprised" pile. Here you might get your 38 Years Old, Fiddlers Green, Thugs or Daredevil.
Don't hold your breath for Killing Time or The Completist.

I just want to hear the Dire Wolf...and the Dark Canuck.
Also...Escape is at Hand.
Those are the 3 of my favourites I've never heard.

I'm hoping they bring back some IBE stuff because that's a great album and they need to play more of those tunes. If I heard Dark Canuck that would be tops though.

I'm about about 40 shows, I still have not, and need to hear:
Thugs
Cordelia
Trickle Down
as for rarities I have heard, and won't mind hearing again:
Put it Off
An Inch An Hour
Everytime You Go
Going to all 3 Calgary. Got shut out of Banff. I was at a TM outlet, and his system froze after I asked him for that show. I felt REALLY bad for the 10 people behind me. I didn't mean to, but I know the rest of them suffered as well. Sorry!
