I know there is allready a "live from the vault" thread, but I thought this Austin show deserved its own thread.
First off, I'm surprised that there was a show from 2002 that only had 4 IVL songs played
hock: Regardless, they make up for it with So Hard Done By and Inevitability Of Death.
I haven't heard the show from the Hammer yet, but my hopes are high. It will be hard to top the first two I've heard, but based on my boot of the Hamilton show, it will give it a run for its money. I just can't wait to scrounge up the money to find it.
Damn, I wish I saw the Hip in 02.
Each tour, every song sounds different.
1998 Poets sounds different then 99 versions, 2000 version, 02 versions ... etc. Hot damn, what a great band.

I just got to the encore... I tried not to look at the setlist too much before listening to it.
Holy fuck.
Chagrin fucking Falls.
That song should be a live staple. Definetly one of my all time favourites.

Did you also notice how awesome Gord's voice sounds on the Austin show? I'm thinking that show might have been at the beginning of a tour where his voice hadn't yet been shredded by months on the road. He sounds especially good on Bobcaygeon.
