NBA playoff thread - The Darkest Canuck - 04-22-2008
it's late, but, as they say, yadda yadda yadda never...
predictions, observations, complaints...yawns...this is the place!
Raptors played a great second half tonight, but it was too little too late. Had they not had such a stinky first half, they could've easily won this game and been returning to Toronto with the split. Instead, they're down 2-0, and they're going to be going into game 3 with an enormous amount of pressure on them. A little dissapointing that Bosh couldn't make the shot to win it, but he had a graet game, so I won't complain.
I'm enjoying watchign the Hornets absolutely destroy the Mavs thus far though :thumb:

been eyeing the hornets most of the year they look great, but i hear ya what a heartbreaker for the raps, bosh played his f'in heart out i was hoping that last shot was goin to get a friendly bounce
ah well the ACC should be rockin thursday

Another terrible first half for the raps - too bad they couldnt pull it out
but how bout Chris Paul's domination!!
35P, 10A in game one followed by 32 and 17 - wow!! and against Jason Kidd too! not that he is an outstanding dman, but he's no slouch

i dunno, Kidd is washed up IMO, but yes, Paul has been quite impressive thus far.

The Suns picked up Shaq late in season much to everyones dismay, (all the writes said what a bad deal it was) but they jelled and he is definitely a great addition, (they had no big guy except for Amare) and they got into the playoffs yeah!, but just cannot beat the Spurs. We are down 2 - 0 already. :nooooo
Game is here tonight. Suns MUST win 2 of the next 3 home games to keep any hopes, but San Antonio looks to repeat (at least out of the West). They are just too good, but...as long as they beat LA I will be happy, just as long as someone does, I really would have liked to see the Suns beat LA. :wink:

I Like what I'm seeing from the Raps so far tonight, very strong first quarter, Calderon's 3 at the buzzer was great!
anyone else feelin' the miraculous series comeback?

poor Raptors...
they need to toughen up BIG TIME if they're ever going to be contenders...another serious offensive weapon would prove most invaluable too IMO.
