Sam Roberts Band: Love at the End of the World -

Don't know if anybody's noticed but SRB posted a link to a "sprout" about their new album in the corner of their homepage. Says to keep coming back there for details about the new album

I can't get it to work but here's the link <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.loveattheendoftheworld.com">www.loveattheendoftheworld.com</a><!-- w -->
Can somebody embed the sprout into the forum and then explain to me how to do it so I'm not so frequently frustrated by such trivial things.

The site is: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.loveattheendoftheworld.ca/">http://www.loveattheendoftheworld.ca/</a><!-- m --> .CA, not .COM.
Sprout is the technology used to build the site. Click on the "Share >" at the bottom right and you are presented with a number of options to share the details of the page using whatever social network you want. There isn't anything to embed, or that you are really missing. If you have a Facebook page you can grab the code from the loveattheendoftheworld page and pop it into your Facebook page and it will be updated as the SRB site is updated.

My bad, I thought that I could share the details of the page in this forum, just as one would with a youtube video. I guess not.

sweet, that's different from anything I've seen from SRB before. I have a feeling this album may be a bit of a departure from old sounds. Then again BIAF and CC sounded
very different from one another imo.

maybe, if the strokes knew how to rock even the slightest bit at all...
i'm not saying that they're not good, they just don't rock...
and as we all know:
"it doesn't matter if it is good, it only matters if it rocks"

That muchmusic blog says its may 20th, which sounds reasonable. Plenty of time to get aquainted with it before the belleville show. By the way that video looks amazing! That 30 second clip took the song to a new level for me.

Agreed, Mojo. I was hooked on this guy's music from the moment I saw him perform live opening up for the Hip on their 2002 theatre tour in Winnipeg, and then Montreal. This album is my most anticipated piece of media this year...

Me too (with the exception of the new Hip record of course). I'll never forget standing right in front of the stage at the Big Easy in Spokane with about 8 other people watching Sammy open up for the Hip. Everybody else in the place was standing near the bar at the back of the room, and it was like we were getting our own little private Sam Roberts show. Even with only a small handfull of people in front of the stage, it was obvious this guy's plan was to blow the socks off of every single person in that venue. The energy was amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on this album.
