Help getting art of Gordon's Solo Album Covers for itunes - Nitrosoxide - 02-05-2008

So, I bought Coke Machine Glow and Battle of the Nudes awhile back, and since ripping them to my computer I've had them on my ipod and itunes.

Thing is, is after getting a new ipod and itunes it really makes it so beautiful to have nice cover art to go along with the albums. And While, I've managed to find good cover art for most of my music, I'm having trouble finding some for Gords solo sutff.

I've tried scanning my covers and the results were pretty crummy. Anyone be willing to post some nice album art for Coke Machine Glow and Battle of the Nudes that is decent quality, perfect for iTunes?

his art work is in my ipod do an album art search under tghe advanced button

If you have the songs properly identified in iTunes just select all of the songs from the album in question, and then go to the Advanced menu and click "Get Album Artwork".

Coke Machine Glow and Battle of the Nudes are available through the iTunes Store which means the artwork is as well.

I found that you have to have the title and artist exact. Look it up and see how it is listed in ITUNEs and then verify yours is labeled the same. For an example, you may have "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" but in ITUNES it is listed without the "The"

for older or out of print CD's I have found that Wikipedia.org or <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.allmusic.com/">http://www.allmusic.com/</a><!-- m --> works pretty well. Also Amazon does a pretty good job for non itunes items like the Beatles.

Next on CD singles, I have gone to the artists page and usually had luck. Soundtracks and Various artists releases usually a crap shoot but what I mentioned previously has given me a success rate of atleast 75%

I am currently looking for the Grapes of Wrath "I am Here 5"" and Thirteen Engines "a blur to me now

If you are a Mac user, there are some great Apple scripts that you can install that will search the web using google for the artwork. You download the script, put it in your scripts folder for iTunes, and then when you have the song(s) selected your click on the script icon in the menu bar and choose the script. Your browser will open a window with images matching the song(s) you chose.

All i do now if i can't find an album cover within Itunes, I just google the cover,save it my pictures then drag and drop it into where it says drag album artwork here. works like a charm Big Grin

You should even have to save the pic to your computer - you should be able to drag the web image directly to iTunes and it will copy it. That might be a Mac only thing...

if i can't find an cd cover i go to amazon search the cd then drag the cd cover into the i tunes cd cover box
