Just got an email about this:
CONTEST!!! OPEN UP FOR SAM ROBERTS
We're looking for Canada's Best Undiscovered Indie Band!
One independent Canadian band will win an opening spot for The Sam Roberts Band as well as top of the line studio time in your region.
How can you enter?
Starting January 21st, Bands can upload a song to MazdaMuzikTour.ca Within 24 hrs, friends and fans as well as music lovers across the country will be able to vote! The 5 Bands with the most votes in each region will be featured in the showcase for a chance to open for and hang out backstage with The Sam Roberts Band.
To qualify, one member of your band must attend a Canadian College or University.
Here's the best part! The winning band will be performing alongside The Sam Roberts Band in a once in a lifetime concert on their campus. That's right, we'll fly in Sam Roberts and his band put on a free concert for classmates and fans!

I got that email, pretty sweet idea. On top of that, they finally updated their website for this first time in months! Perhaps this means a new tour/album/anything on the horizon?
