Last week some arrogant jerkoff decided to hack our server and delete the Admin accounts, along with add their own graphics, and generally be a pest. This forced our hand and we implemented an upgraded version of the tracker software.

This turned out to be a good move, but sadly the loser hacker saw it as a new challenge and eventually gained access to the accounts and made changes, sent spam messages, deleted users, etc. which brings me to the point: The Hip Tracker as we knew and loved it is dead.

If you have any ideas on how to resurrect it, please let me know.

Thanks Dana. I have a plan to keep things rolling, but I am not sure how to administrate it yet...

Here's all I know so far about the jerkoff:
• "Da Fog" is the name of the perp.
• Registered using a .cz email address.

Damn this sucks.
Believe me Chris, people will start to realize how much hard work it is to keep this thing going and appreciate it a hell of a lot more when/if it comes back up.
I know my collection would be very shotty if it wasn't for you and the excellent site that you run and maintain.

It will be missed.

Hopefully its not dead... just in a bit of a coma.

Well, you know when someone uses a .cz account he/she is just looking to be a dick. (.cz are usually temporary accounts)

I just Googled "DaFog." Lots of them came up, most registered to forums and torrent sites.

It looks like he's into online poker, and he may be from Richmond.

Chris, I just wanted to say thanks for all the work you've put into this, I know that without the tracker my enjoyment of the Hip may never have developed into the near obsession it has.
