Radio Nowhere, very cool...A little obvious, but very cool nonetheless...Though I'll confess, the first time I heard the song, I thought it could've been a Hip tune...What with that driving melody and all...

The album debuts today and Bruce is starting his American tour in Hartford.

I know that my father is going to the Philly show on Saturday, and will be gunning for tickets in Cleveland or Pittsburgh so Esthete and I can get in on the "Magic".

Picked up the new album today and it's excellent! Early favorites so far are "Livin in the Future", "Gypsy Biker", "Last to Die" and "Long Walk Home". This album is classic Bruce.

Every 2nd post of yours is how you "just picked up the new album"....just how big is your record/cd collection?

As far as The Boss goes, I'm in crisis mode trying to locate some tickets. I've gotta call in a bunch of favours and hope something works out...else I might have to go the scalper route...argh

Haha, yeah it's been like Christmas for me over the last two weeks with some of my favorite artists all releasing new albums at the same time (The Weakerthans, Steve Earle, Wintersleep, Foo Fighters, The Boss). I couldn't help but splurge. My record collection is ridiculously large. I'm still part of that small minority who actually buys CDs in stores. What can I say, I'm a big fan of owning the original artwork, lyrics, and liner notes.

So I'm going to see The Boss on Sunday and I'm having a hard time supressing my excitement...I've triple washed my new blue jeans and I've got a new red handkerchief poised for insertion directly into my back pocket a la Born in the USA...if you're gonna see The Boss, you gotta do it right.

If it's half as good as the first time I saw him I will be in for a treat. There aren't too many artists who play for as long and as intense as Bruce and his E-Street Band do.

I actually think I'm more pumped to see Silvio Dante (Little Steven) than I am Bruce...I've got a Silvio wig that I wore for Halloween that I feel like wearing to the concert..I think I'll pass though.

Holy Hell!!! What a night.

That band knows how to rock the f*ck out of a concert.

A huge surprise tonight was Win and Regine of The Arcade Fire coming out to play 3 songs on stage during the encore...including the E-Street Band's first time ever playing "Keep the car running" Which, from the first time I ever heard that song, reminded me of a Springsteen tune who's name is escaping me right now (I'm sure someone will fill the void here for me, before I can put 2 and 2 together)..

By far the highlight for me was hearing "Backstreets" and "Born to Run" I'm probably coming across like a noobie hip fan saying "I hope they play blow at high dough" but man, I love those 2 songs so much.

Such a great time!!!

That is phenomenal. Wow.
Not just inviting them on stage, but playing one of their songs....
What a honour from the boss himself.
That must have been a sight to see... congrats to everyone who went and saw that!
