I am posting this in the Hip discussion board because of the relavance. I put together a silly little web page that is basically a "Gord Downie in Utah Preview" page. Even though its regarding a solo gig, there is some very unfortunate exclusive news contained on the page that is regarding the Hip as a whole. i think its a simple mistake. after all, i'm sure most people in utah (excluding you of course) dont really know too much about GD/the hip

I can't believe the venue. It appears so small that it would feel like your standing next to Gord as he plays from anywhere there. Especially if you're near the front. If it was a Hip show you'd need a towel to dry yourself off from Gord's sweat. Gord was sitting for the shows I saw. It looked as if he had to hold himself back from getting up and jamming all around. You are going to have great fun Beanmedic :lol: .
