Oi!
So what have been yer faves, or, the best g'night's you've ever heard Gord give the crowd at the end of a show? I've been a big fan of the "Robby, Johnny, Paul, Gord" whatever goodnight, but any other picks from you guys? My favourite, as recent as it's been...

Gord said something to the effect of "and thanks to the crew, the most underpaid crew in the industry..." at the first Kee to Bala show that got me to thinking that maybe there was something behind that - like a poke at some of the management that were there or something.
I just thought it was a weird thing to say in your good nights to everyone.
A little off topic I know but it came to mind when I saw this thread...

I still like "...and the Gardiner Expressway, you keep on doing what you're doing" line from the June 24 Fort York show last summer.

from an older show, went something like this... Goodnight, do up your jackets, its a little colder then when you first came in. This is they have all gone and we'll go too.

This winter in Grande Prairie he did a cliched series of rock and roll gestures and narrated it. Something like "make a fist, tap the chest, salute the crowd" (but longer), then delicately (but resoundingly) lowering the mic to the floor headfirst.
I was amused, anyway.
