You know what really makes 50MC a great song? Paul & Gord Sinclair's back-up singing....it's awesome (& sometimes it isn't as appreciated as it should be)

This one's gonna be a blowout, but 50MC kind of ebbs and flows in my liking. And it happens to be at a low point right now. Smalltown is the redeeming song of the EP, I think. It gets my vote.

Here in Canada, hockey is our religion. That tells you pretty much all you need to know about the appeal of 50MC. Well that, and the fact that the song is just a straight-forward, no non-sense rocker.

I am a rare Canadian, especially being that I grew up in small town Sk, in that I never played hockey growing up and don't so much care for it as an adult. Even so, I love 50 MC and think it's such a fantastic story and great all around rock song.
