I know it blows you guys away but most Americans have never heard of The Tragically Hip. In addition to 9 out of 10 Americans being assholes we are also incredibly ignorant.

on another note, as messed up as the US articles are of the band, it's good to see any kind of press. I still hope they get the recognition they derserve after years and years of waiting.

Yes sir I am a certified A#1 asshole. None the less I am very excited to see positive sales numbers for the new album. I think if the single gets some airplay this could be the breakthrough album for The Hip.
