What a crazy game between Ottawa & Tampa, just shy of 100 PIM in the 3rd period alone. Lecavalier and Chara fought, as did Heatley & Pratt. I can't wait for game 4.
Ottawa was winning 8-4 with 11 seconds left when Tampa Bay scored. The goal was reviewed though, an eventually ended up being waived off because the Bolts player used a marginal kicking motion to direct the puck in. I wasn't happy with the review, first off IMO the goal should have counted in any situation, let along with the home team losing 8-4 with 11 seconds left in the 3rd period.

I do, but Tampa are my 2nd favorite team. I feel so anti-Canadian...the only Canadian team i'm cheering for in the 1st round is Montreal.

Huge win for the Flames! They absolutely dominated tonight, and it's about time. Their forecheck gave Anaheim fits all night long, and we actually used our speed and won the majority of the battles along the boards, which was great to see. This was definitely their best effort of the series so far.

Go Habs Go!
I'm also not cheering for any other Canadian teams, go Bolts(for PEI boy Richards, St Louis and Lecavalier, and for my hate of Sens fans this year)
I like the Red Wings, so not cheering for Oilers, and Flames, go Flames I guess
Bell Centre is gonna be rocking tonight being up 2-0 against the Canes

Precisely. Forget that Clarke wouldn't know class if it bit him on the ass. Quinn is a good coach. He had moderate success in Toronto. Winning seasons and a perennial exit in the second round of the playoffs. Maybe they overachieved, I don't know. It was time for Quinn to go, but he was not the major problem. Richard Peddie and the Leaf brass are the problem. Peddie simply does not understand sports. He understands business. In the end, that's all that matters to MLSE.

Jaromir Jagr and Martin Rucinsky will both be game time decisions tonight, we desperately need both of them on the ice, our 2 best offensive players. Henrik Lundqvist will be back, but i haven't heard anything on Darius Kasparaitis or Jason Ward.
It's do or die time, if the Rangers lose, they're finished, plain and simple.
The first playoff game at MSG tonight in 9 years (how pathedic is that)...can't wait for game time. Center Ice better be showing the MSG feed!

GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
I'm in MTL at a conference and it was cool to see everyone here go nuts with that goal.....except for the fact that I've got a bunch of 'canes in the office pool.
Oh, and for the recoird, MARTY TURCO SUCKS ASS. I haven't seen a 'tender so good in the regular season and so brutal in the playoffs since CuBlow was a Leaf.
Yep, that pretty much sums it up. :thumb:
BTW, Theodore looks horrible in the playoffs also DESPITE the Avs winning.
I just wanted to reiterate how much I hate the Senators. Chris Neil is a loser.

He's almost as much of a joke as Kirk Maltby.

not to make excuses, but i feel as though missed calls by the refs made the difference tonight in Montreal (and that double minor...i didn't see any blood)...the missed call on Koivu, and right at the end on Vasicek...but, with that being said, Kovalev Boullion, Ribeiro, Higgins, and Murray all had excellent chances to pad the 1-0 lead and couldn't convert.

The missed call on Koivu, which was absolutely blatant and with the play, well, that was tough to watch. Fortunately, the referee was as blind as a fucking bat and not following the play in the first place, so he didn't have to watch it.
I'm less pissed off (as a Habs fan) that the Habs lost the game than with that call. Huet let in that softish goal and then the call in OT that gave the Canes the advantage was fair enough. So you lose some.
But that high stick was blatant, and in case nobody noticed, Koivu skated off with his eye closed and was obviously unable to see. My feeling is they've lost him for the playoffs, and possibly longer.
