For those of you in Eastern Canada... this is what Rob just said on the Canoe chat:

"The dates we are doing right now are just some smaller club dates around the release of the record with more extensive touring coming in from January right through the summer. So if your town isn't there now, expect us somewhere close by in the summer. So we had to make a choice on some places if we would play them in the summer or winter. We decided Halifax and St. John's would be good summer gigs."

Ok, I'm just wondering something..... the site says to log in and etc. tomorrow at 10 for a presale link (for Ottawa anyway).

I logged into the site now to check it ouw, and clicked 'remember me'. I then closed the site and went back into it, and when i clicked the log in page, my info wasn't there?!?

I guess the remember me doesn't work? I just want to make sure I'm actually logging onto the site so I can get the link tomorrow..... (yes, I'm being paranoid)

ACC is a smaller club date? Maybe Rob wasn't aware of the dates released today?

Does this mean that Ontario is gonna get another 10-12 shows in the summer...."oh no! We forgot to play a gig in Muskoka, Ontario...we'd better go back!"

Jeez...not till the summer? I know, I know..I saw them in C'town in July but to wait another year while Ontario gets about 20 shows. I'm just green with envy is all.

Might have to roadtrip it somewhere I guess. Maybe the eastern US (Boston) area.

Maybe this is the summer we get a show at the Kee Smile

I'm hoping their on the coast around the August long weekend. It'll make going to this wedding out there even more worth while.

Cheers,

Pat

Could the lack of Quebec and East Coast datesa have anything to do with the non-existence of Ticketmaster/HOB out here?? Any takers on that theory?

they're comin back to SUDBURY! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

only shitty thing is that i'm up in Kenora right now...and Sudbury don't do ticketmaster...Sad...so i'm gonna have to get one of my friends to camp out to get front rows...or w/e best available is...too bad, cuz i had fun sleepin out in front of the Sudbury Arena in 2000...listening to the hip, drinkin timmies...playing cards, shooting the shit...the unusual cold September weather didn't even put a damper on things...

- Ry222 - 10-23-2006

The Darkest Canuck-
So there is no pre-sale for the Sudbury show?

thanx Nick for posting that, I was starting to get a cold sweat thinking if they were going to head back east. I can wait until summer since I am getting my fix Nov. 9th at the Metropolis.

I'm pretty sure I know what is going on here and it stems from some people not confirming their registration - via a link in the email - I built a work around, as it became an issue for a lot of people and I will put it into this version of the site in the next few hours. . . .

- The Darkest Canuck - 10-23-2006

MAv is there presale for Sudbury?

Thanks MAv. I think I created my account back in the beta version of the site, so I probably never did re-register and confirm and all that jazz.....

I'll PM you my address just in case it helps you track down the problem any better......
