Hey here is one that has not been mentioned.
"The king of France would give these ladies money so thay were known as filles, filles de roi"
I can't remember the exact quote off the top of my head but I think there is enough info to get it right!
Back to you:
" He was my man, my responsibility"

No Canadian band, no Canadian musician would be complete without a song about a nautical disaster. This song is called Nautical Disaster.
(What song immediately follows?)

wasnt it "just as well"
Quote:"this is a song about my very favourite nuclear submarine"
I'm almost positive this was used as an intro to Courage
"very favourite nuclear submarine" is NOIS, but it also has Fire in the Hole and Nautical Disaster in the jam part. It is ten intense minutes of song. It's on the Nautical Disaster single and it's classic.
for example, from the bridge of the song, before they go back into NOIS: "pride would never set foot in paradise, would it; and beauty will save the world, won't it; and enthusiasm does conquer all, doesn't it"
"song about a nautical disaster" is NOIS too.
and I'm pretty sure the Filles du Roi was used for Fully Completely on a number of occasions, but may also have been used elsewhere.
How bout: "This song is for King Lear's most astute and honest daughter, who ends up, uh, yeah, you know the story ..."

Yeah, I'd be shocked if that wasn't Cordelia.
How about "We'd like to do a song now if we could about a bounty hunter, he used to be journalist but then he quit and became a bounty hunter. This is called... ...where Newt Gingrich begins."

obviously, Cordelia. I just liked that intro though, so I thought I'd throw it in.

If you hadn't thrown in the Newt Gingrich bit I'd be clueless as I've never heard this intro. But, it has to be At The Hundredth Meridian.

Yeah... if I wanted to be a real tough guy then I'd have left that out. But good job getting that right.
Do you have a copy of the Pink Pop show? That's where that quote comes from.

No, I don't have a copy of that show, which could explain my hopelessness.

"This song is about a guy who has to kill his puppy because his wife's allergic to it."
