Loved it. It sparked so many of my own memories while reading it, and I started to recall that adrenalin rush of seeing the Hip for the first time in 1992 at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary when I was 17. Went to school the next day with scrapes and bruises all over from being crushed up against the barrier. "Battle scars" as I liked to call them back then. I honestly hadn't thought about that moment in years until I started reading your book, and then it all came flooding back in glorious waves. So thank you for the trip down memory lane.

That being said, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree with your assessment of the criminally underrated In Violet Light.

For someone who loathes In Violet Light (Silver Jet) and the Luxury, your Hipbase handle and pic (assuming thats Gord shaking his banana to the Luxury) don't compute :wink: , good read though man, congrats!

Question Josh;, on page 133, 2nd paragraph, am I reading right that your saying Daniel Lanois produced Day for Night? or after all these years I hadn't known about his involvement with that record....
