I really thought that performance from Alexisonfire was great!
Dallas Green's voice is incredible to be able to hold up like that in an arena setting!

hats off to them, I really enjoyed that!

THREE DAYS GRACE , has 2 songs on the top 20 of the U.S. rock charts.
PAIN , is number 1 , and their album was GOLD [500,000+ , so far] in the U.S. :thumb:

God I hate award shows. I'm just gonna watch the Hip and K-OS, and then I'm shutting it off.

I was not surprize that THE HIP , didn't win any thing.

The Junos are mostly based on sales.

W.C. , is sadly out of the Canadian top 100 albums chart and it has been only certified platinum , so far.

The other bands nom. have sold allot more CDs in Canada.

I am glad that they chose YER NOT THE OCEAN , to play and I hope that is the new single.

For what ever reason , TLOTR [Rink] didn't even reach the top 50 in Canada for air play.

Lets hope that YNTO , gets better air play than RINK , because , YNTO should boost W.C. album sales in Canada.

Here's their version of New Orleans Is Sinking... there are a few seconds of silence at the start of the track.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find Gord's poem/speach about Bob Rock? If and when it ever finds it's way onto the internet? My jaw was on the floor for the entire time. Gord's got such a way with words... it was incredible.

I check the Canadian weekly air play charts from JAM MUSIC and other sources and if YER NOT THE OCEAN , has been out for weeks now , it has yet to chart in the Canadian TOP 100 radio air play charts. I could leave that charts link here if you want? So according to you , no one is playing it.

It hasn't even debuted yet on those charts , yet!

As for NELLY , I AM NOT A FAN , but I am not one of these typical Canadian culture bashers that goes nuts every time a Canadian is on top of the world in the music business. I am actually happy for them. :thumb:

In 2007 , NELLY has won a GRAMMY , a BRIT AWARD , a WORLD MUSIC AWARD for being the TOP female pop/rock singer in the world [which was based on LOOSE's , world wide album sales for 2006].

NICKELBACK , also won a WORLD MUSIC AWARD , for best group of the year in the world.That is the first time ever that 2 Canadian artists have won in those major awards. :thumb:

Her latest album has sold 10 million+ CDs in the world , so far.

She has had ....2 ......# 1 singles on the U.S. Billboard TOP 100 Singles Chart!

Funny , I laughed , my wife laughed and the audience seem to laugh at her comic bits. :lol:
