National Public Radios "All Things Considered" used ABAC as bumper music in yesterdays show.
I checked NPR for the Hip and found only one entry.

City and Colour: Sleeping Sickness (audio)

- On "Sleeping Sickness," Green is joined by singer Gordon Downie, from Tragically Hip, one of Canada's most popular and influential bands. Green sings on the opening verse, while Downie comes in spectacularly on the chorus, singing, "Someone come and save my life." There are some depressing images of nightmares, misery, and death. But the track also sports a catchy melody, upbeat acoustic guitars, and well-placed hand claps. Whether or not the song is meant to be ironic is unclear, but when the music works this well it hardly matters.

I heard 'Puttin' Down' in the pub on Friday night! Granted it was a Canadian pub which does raise the odds a fair bit, but it's exciting none the less! 8)

The Maple Leaf in London, I assume? I heard "Lake Fever" the last time I was there back in 2006. I was surprised I didn't hear any of the traditional favourites; looks like the owner has a real thing for Music@Work.
