Definitely! I'd love to see Aerosmith, but man i just can't see it. I've been hoping all along that Aerosmith will either be named as one of the bands playing Magnetic Hill (if it happens), or the big show in the works for Halifax in September (again, if it happens)...but that'd be awesome if they came right here to Charlottetown lol.
Aside from the inside scoop i got a month ago that the Hip would be playing the FOTL, i haven't heard any rumors on who else (aside from Roberts/Mayes/Plaskett/2 Hours Traffic...if you hear anything else, post it here

Rory,
The woman and I will let you know asap if we're going to come. We were looking at flying to Halifax on the 29th and returning on the 1st. Hopefully the offer is still there for a place to shack up. We'll know well before the 24th when tickets go on sale if we're going to come. Are Brandy and Kira going to come to?
ttyl,
Jamie

So, who wants to meet a 17 year old high school student? Noone? I'll be quiet then.

Hopefully the meet up won't be at The Dublin. Unless The Hip play there afterwards. Then I'm there. I will be a force to be reckoned with if they give me the ol' "Legal Drinking Age" mumbo jumbo.

I was going to suggest the Dublin since it is within walking distance to the waterfront.

Um....I don't know......there are enough restaurants/bars downtown that any could suffice. I don't think you need to be of drinking age to meet up at the Dublin anyway, not if you're going there for a meal or whatever. I don't know how crowded these places will be though. We could meet at the Legislative Building, at the statue of the soldiers and then go from there. That's an easy enough place I'd say. It's where University Ave. meets Grafton street downtown and the statue is big and noticeable so everyone could find it easily. kleh, any suggestions???????? sSS???????

How about we meet up front and centre during the opening drumbeat of Grace, Too?

WOAH!! Didn't expect this announcement until the 24th!! I'm glad it is earlier though...I can now finally plan a trip. Crazy. I was planning on going back on October...and still would be.....but I have to admit...this concert is the turning point...
To see this show in my favorite city (lived there on and off for the past 10 years) with my friends and family....outside show at the waterfront. Consider it a done deal.
Show number 6, here I come.

There's a fest at the end of July in PEI called "Shoreline". A cool band called The New Deal is playingat it, but thats all I know. Since some of my firends are planning on going to this, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some info on it, to see if it will be worth going over too in addition to Fest of Lights.
