The selections were probably not heavily curated, but it seemed like they were makings sure they hit at least every album (Small Town Bringdown ... Now for Plan A ...). Also, I kinda barfed when George called it "Emperor the Penguin"

Wouldn't No Threat qualify? IVL bonus track, no?

I thought that was a Yer Favourites bonus track

Yep. The IVL bonus tracks were Problem Bears, Ultra Mundane, and Forest Edge.

Yeah, I was unable to download on Firefox or Chrome on my PC, but mobile Chrome did the trick. Weird quirk.

If nobody else gets around to it in the next hour or so, I'll split/tag the tracks and reupload so we can pick and choose what we like.

That's where the Cowboy Junkies should have pulled their cover from (would have liked to see them tackle "Good Life" or "Leave"). Their cover of Little Bones was a swing and a miss for me. I'm a big fan of Margo Timmins but the band sucked the life out of that tune. However, Giftshop by Amos the Transparent, was a home run. So much great music to work through....

Working on it now and holy shit this guy needs to shut up during intros/outros. Hopefully they release an edited patter-free version in the future.

Yeah, that was really annoying. He loves to talk.

Funny, that was probably my favorite cover of the night. I really enjoyed their slowed-down bluesy take on the song. They definitely made it their own.

Pretty sure I just heard George Strombolopolous have an orgasm at the end of the Hawksley track.

...and the Trews track.

I agree that they made it their own and kudos to them for that. Certainly the easier road to travel is to not stray far from the original. They boldly went in a completely different direction. My criteria for a thumbs up or thumbs down as I listen to the show (I'm about halfway through now) was, "Do I, or would I, want to go back and listen to that song again?" Little Bones was a "no" as it just fell flat for me. I would have liked to have heard a livelier and more upbeat acoustic take on the song.

The perfect example of this was the Skydiggers' stripped-down take on "The Rock" from the Depression Suite. Just a beautiful job by those guys. I would have enjoyed hearing them do the entire song.

Most anticipated track...can't wait to hear it...

Hopefully it gets out there in higher quality than 128 kbps.

It's also available at this URL, not sure if it's higher quality than the one from his site.

Did George interview Rush during this? I heard about 2/3 of the show but must have missed the Rush interview - was it just Geddy talking about ABAC?
