I have an extra ticket for tonight's show. We're staying at the Swissotel - 323 E Wacker Drive - (312) 565-0565 - ask for Heidi Lindgren's room if you're interested. I'm not looking for full price. We'll be around the room for awhile. Can't wait for the show tonight!!!

While I was not at the show I did watch it on the CBS2 in Chicago last night. The show cooked but the sound was horrible. Very bad mix. All mid range and Rob's guitar was too high in the mix. The broadcast was commercial free from about 11:30 until just after midnight. Once they started commercials, though they would do so at about the middle of every song and the return in the middle of the next song. In View has been getting quite a bit of airplay on WXRT so I thought it would be a featured song. Alas, it was one of the songs that was joined half way through after commercial. Nautical Disaster was faded out and talked over to end the broadcast. Grace Too faded out just as it started and was then rejoined after the commercial. I can't complain too much, though, it's not often that you get a live broadcast of the Hip on Chicago television. They talked to crowd members from time to time and they were all very excited Hip fans. One guy had come from London, Ontario saying that he came to see the Hip in a venue that size because at home they play arenas. All in all a great way to spend new year's eve.

All the commercial breaks and fading in and out would annoy the hell out of me if I was watching that. I'm sure it was a great show though.

That makes me nervous. I don't need people seeing what a total goof I am at shows.

Though, I will say that Esthete and I had a fabulous time. I'll be posting a review later when I have a moment.

Great show,,,great set list, but I would have loved to hear 'Twist my arm' or 'Tree pistols'.

No autographs for my Nova Scotia flag.

The Leafs jersey got lots of positive feedback. I think everyone from Ontario stopped and mentioned where they were from, and how far we all had to go, to see this show.

Now I will be in Kamloops in less than a week,,,Only have Row 17,,not fisrt row, like in Chicago.

These guys are THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD Confusedhock:

No doubt. As mentioned in the review thread, I've caught some good natured abuse. Of course, if that's the price to pay for the front, bring on the abuse.

It shouldn't be as bad as Elaine dancing (Seinfeld). I think (hope).
