I was watching the devils and flyers game on the 18th. In the background on the arena P.A. they were playing In View. Not a shocker that they were playing the hip at a hockey game but in the states it's kind of odd.

At the Real Canadian Superstore I work at they play Courage and Ahead by a Century every now and then, not very often though. Also, my buddy swears he heard My Music @ Work on two different occasions, but I don't believe him.

so on my first coffee break this morning, we're sittin in the lunch room w/ the local radio station barking in the background (radio just placed there last week)
all of a sudden, bobcaygeon comes on after the news, my co-worker (whom i know is a drummer) is sittin accross the table & starts to tap the beat on the table, meanwhile someone from the office staff is fixing up a cup of joe behind me humming the melody
i felt like i was in the video or something :music

Cool stuff. Apparently the soundtrack is just a score, but some quick research led me to a list of songs used in the movie:
Here’s the complete lists of songs from the movie, plus iTunes links on the click through – so you can preview the songs and find out which one it is. The Jumper soundtrack released by the studio only included the score, none of these songs. Bummer because there was some good music in Jumper.
Ahead by a Century - Tragically Hip
Blackened Blue Eyes - Charlatans UK
Happy Summer Weddning - Morning Musume
I Know You Want It - No Standing
Ladies and Gentlemen - Saliva
Lay Down the Law - Switches
Lil' King Kong - Simple Kid
Look After You - Fray
Lucky Girl - Black Summer Crush
Mercury - Peter Oldroyd and Gary Scargill
Move it Around - X5
Original music - John Powell
Piu Forte Delle Bombe - Colle Der Fomento
Rabbit Hole - Eastern Conference Champions
Sexy Boy - soyokazeni Yorisotte - Morning Musume
Stompbox - Qemists
Tick Tick Boom - Hives
We Does That - C.M.D.
What Now - No Standing

It's apparant that "Courage" must be on a musak feed or some other satellite music service playlist....one that Walgreens and various grocery stores use.....

Listening to my local Calgary sports talk station, they were interviewing Darryl Sutter at practice at the "Dome" and Family Band was playing in the background, followed by David Bowie, Cat People?
Who's IPOD are they listening to I wonder, Kipper?

Very true... I was sitting in a meeting at a Safeway in Baltimore this morning and was quite surprised to hear courage in the background. I had to look over my shoulder and do a double take to be sure it was coming from the store musak. Made the meeting much better (for me anyways) :thumb:

50 Mission Cap was played before the Winter Classic in Buffalo. I have also heard it during the warmups at several Sabres games.

Yeah, my grocery store is owned by Safeway. The feed sucks ballz but there still is some really good stuff like a ton of R.E.M. (theyhave, like, six of their songs on rotation) and some Rush.
