Canuck Courage: Thanks for the compliment and I'll be sure to take you up on your offer someday. Canada is very high on my list of places to see! :thumb:

Canuck,

I will admit that Matt's story got to me. My range of emotion is hot or cold with no in-between. I was reacting to the fact that "everybody is pickin' on me". I was pissed off and tired of reading/hearing/seeing all of the negativity about the U.S. It made me feel good to read something like that. As I have mentioned before, I don't necessarily agree with alot of what my government does. God knows I have coutless reasons not to trust large corporations and politicians, I live in one of, if not the highest taxed state - New York. Reasons/facts aside, I have to believe that what has occured is for the best for everybody in the long run. I pray for all of us to become better people.

As for Kim, Beat and Storm, my initial reaction to your posts was pure anger, but after some thought I realize that there is no right and wrong and your opinions and facts are your own, as I have mine. I'm sure most issues could be debated until the end of time. For that I respect you and would welcome you to my country anytime.

Because of my propensity towards intense, immediate reactions involving many issues of the day. I frequently choose to "unplug" for a while and cool off. I hope I have explained myself intelligently enough. I sometimes feel "dumb" talking about these issues. I think I'll lay off this topic for a while.

Well put Chad . Shall we agree to disagree ? I just feel that Governments can't be trusted . Not in some X-Files kind of paranoia , but just the history of their actions . I think we as people should make ourselves more aware of what's really going on vs. what we are told . My own Prime Minister can be put into the category of Axis of Weasel . I don't let Mr. Chretien taint my feelings on what it means to be Canadian . I definitely understand why you feel your being attacked . Thanks for responding and being honest .

Of course Jen...

but.. ehm.. what are Buffalo wings??

- hipkid33 - 05-08-2003

I got this one Jen! Big Grin

I am sorry that you dont know, Storm. You're missing out!
We are talking about the best thing to hit the world since the invention of electricity-CHICKEN WINGS! Not just any wings, but Buffalo style:
1. They have to be big. Bigger the better!

2. Then they are deep fried. Some people batter them first, but I prefer them without batter (the Buffalo way) and crispy.
3. Then they are shaken in a hot sauce. My favorite is Franks Red Hot with butter and Tobasco sauce.
4. The are then served piping hot with carrots, celery and chuncky bleu cheese dressing! (the dressing is to dip the wings, not the celery and carrots!) Big Grin
5. You also need your favorite beer of course!

How did I do Jen? Anything to add?

Cheers!

Chad
