I have to admit, when I first heard of this, I was wondering what the hell the Swedes were up to.

Then I saw the footage... whoa. While I selfishly am glad that Rick Nash has not been suspended given how great he has played and how bad off Canada would be without him, I can't help also thinking that he made contact with the ref and linesman on purpose and should be punished for what he did.

He is very lucky he was not punished for this, no doubt about it.

How was he not punished?
How was he not tossed out?
How is it possible that the zebras are that brutal?

I'm playing this Saturday as well; where are you playing?

I'm playing Friday at Hockley Valley and saturday at Don Valley, I've never played the Don so I am looking forward to that.

Where are you off to?

It's a mystery to me. My brother-in-law just got a new job and wants to celebrate with a round of golf.

Last weekend I played Westview. $70 to play all you want (+ cart fees) 27 holes, great course to play, and it only took 6 hours to play 27 with a 20 minute lunch break.

The Don is a lot of fun, but please allow a full day to play.

- NMAS - 05-11-2005

Where's westview, I've heard of it but not sure where it is.
Yeah anticipating a long day at the Don, we Don't tee off until 1:36

On the long weekend I am heading out to my moms for a visit, she has two amazing courses out her way, Timberridge and Trillium Wood, if you are ever in the belleville brighton area check them out. Timberridge was ranked number 33 in canada among public and resort courses. and it is 50 bucks a round.

I love golf, I just hate that I dont have as much time to play as I used to. I cant wait to retire! We have alot of nice courses in the london area, I like Ironwood myself. I cant wait for July we finally get to see the mysterious RedTail for the first time, its gonna be seen on TV. See here:

I loathe golf, and I'm horrible at it, but I did get to play Nicklaus North at Whistler last Friday (at the company's expense). Pretty sweet course. I didn't see the final tab but I believe it was $95 including cart. I also had to rent clubs and they don't cheap out on those either. The driver was idiot-proof. 80% of my drives were solid and right down the middle of the fairway and that NEVER happens.

- chris - 05-11-2005

$95! That's it? Including cart??? Wow. Prices in the GTA are outrageous. That course would probably carry a fee of $175 ++ here in Toronto.

2 summers ago I played at the Links at Crowbush Cove in P.E.I. It was ranked number 6 in Canada I believe 6 years ago, it's number 8 now I think. It was incredible and it only cost 75$. P.E.I. is the place to go for golf in Canada, there is some spectacular courses there, and the fees are cheap.

Yeah, someday I will get to PEI for a golf vacation. looks amazing.

It's on my list as well... I'd like to do a tour of the island, play all the courses with 3 buddies. Make it a mini tournament tour.
