My set arrived in the mail today. It's as beautiful and haunting as you'd expect. Only downside is my turntable is in storage and you can't download the music on the website until tomorrow. First time I can recall being mad at canada post for being TOO good.

Planning on downloading the album and listening to it on the walk home from the NAC tomorrow night.

For anyone who didn't get a ticket to the Ottawa show, the NAC's Twitter account posted about 45 minutes ago that "elect tickets for tomorrow night’s performance of Gord Downie’s Secret Path have been released for purchase". Just noticed.

got my package today as well. great deal for all that. and the money goes to charity. such a win win there
gonna spin the album now. the picture book is indeed haunting
this is certainly a story that needed to be dealt with and i'm feeling damn proud of gord for doing it
it's not a happy story. gut wrenching and like gord says, haunting.
but only good can come from this discussion/project. bravo gord. bravo.

Just (7:45pm eastern) pulled a single ticket at $54, up in the balcony section for Ottawa. No code needed. Went back in, and it says no more available. Weird!

Not that I've seen (yet). Maybe tomorrow?

It wouldn't let me use access my download code from the vinyl tonight. I kind of like how it's "off the grid" for one night and I can only listen on my record player.

So far it looks like the only way to get the digital version is to buy either the book or the vinyl package. I would check iTunes tomorrow. I'm sure they'll have it available soon.

What a god damn package, Gord. Pretty rough listening that also somehow soothes. I don't know what to say about all of this but it's incredibly beautiful and well presented and I really hope it helps bring more awareness t all of this. Really helps me put my shitty day into perspective. Thank you, Gord. ❤️

With all the hyping of this album, I can't believe how hard it is to purchase and listen to the damn thing. They should be offering it in all kinds of downloadable formats, and donating the proceeds. Amazon is out of stock on vinyls, and the official page charges 30 bucks for shipping, on top of the 52 buck price tag. I can't afford that.
