You think? :? A & E was running the full 1st season or 2nd season last year and I sat down for a few days and must have watched at least 10 hours of it overall. I thought it was interesting for a while. Then I just got bored of it. I can't bring myself to watch it now. It just bores me. CBC is starting to show ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT now at 12:00 and I caught a few episodes. It's been a while since I've seen that show and I probably have only seen five episodes. What a great show.
Anyway, god bless all the people that watch 24. I'm in the minority about that show it seems.

What did everyone think of this past week's episode?
Graham being revealed as Jack's brother was interesting. I'm also glad their expanding Jack's character introducing his estranged family.

24 is so out there that nothing usually suprises me.
But Graham blew my mind.

this season has been absolutely TERRIBLE. of the 6 (?) hours so far, there has been maybe 45 minutes that i could call good. 24 used to be the best show on TV.. i am not sure what happened this year.
they had a fantastic end to last season (the best ending ever) and they dropped the whole story 10 minutes into the first episode. think of the storyline possibilities if they had a team going into china to get Jack.
but instead we are back to muslim terrorists with nukes. been there. done that. and the same old "let's get rid of the president" or "they have a lead, but the guy dies before they can talk to him, and a bunch of random CTU agents get killed and now they have no leads" stories. blah blah blah
i am not mouring Curtis, but rather the show as a whole.

I do like however that a bomb actually went off in the US. Makes for a little different story line.

Except that "two hours" later people are driving around LA like nothing happened, rather than exhibiting the total chaos that would happen in any major city of a nuke went off anywhere close.
I dunno - I've gotta agree with Mark on this one. This season has been a total let down for me. I had an inkling it was going to be disappointing when in a span of "ten minutes" in the first episode, Jack went from unkempt and scraggly to shaved, showered, hair cut, oh, and was handcuffed to a grate. I don't know about you guys, but it takes me 10 minutes to shave after a week of not shaving, let alone two years. Now, I know he's Jack Bauer and all, but still.......
It would have been way more cool to see him escape from the Chinese, infiltrate their military, and by the end of the day take over the country, with frequent shots of Kim sunbathing by the pool back in LA.

i love the show
but how is it that every season someone is going to killl the president and stuff
how the hell does a cellphone work in what is suppose to be the whitehouse
bomb shelter and no one is listening in to these calls (bullshit)
how does a terrorist that everyone is looking for can escape in a vent and get down 6 stories out the building and two blocks away in a minute escape in a helicopter.
this show needs more jack that is when the show is at its best

I agree with most of the comments as well. I was really really looking forward to an extention of the Chinese plot, I waited all year for it and then it was done with a snap of your fingers.
Things like cell-phones not working and Jack shaving his beard in 2 minutes are just reminders for us that - this is television. We don't see them eat or go to the bathroom on the show either. It's just not needed and we take it for granted.
I still thoroughly enjoy sitting down Monday nights to watch this show. It's still exciting and intense but yes, still a bit upset about the Chinese and 'same old' storylines.

I couldn't agree more. Specifically with the Kim sunbathing part. Good Canadian!!

Sorry folks, I understand all of your complaints, but with 24, I just check my intellect at the door at hang on for the ride. Did anyone think that any of the seasons (save season one) were actually believable/plausible? Come on. And yes, the storyline is repetitive - but I don't think the whole Jack being tortured in China for two years storyline is over yet. Ever notice people seeing Jack's scars on his hands and Jack gets kind of squirely? Something's going to break before this day is out.
