Does anyone else think that this tune sounds similar to Bumblebee from the PP demos? I don't know, for some reason I'm getting that sort of vibe. Thoughts?

if i download the thing and burn it to cd then can i rip it to mp3, not for stealing or selling purposes, just so i can listen to it in playlist with my other songs and do what i please with it ??
let me know, thanks.
Yup. You can even use iTunes for that whole process. Just ensure your importing settings are set to MP3.
Download=>Burn=>Import (in MP3) and you are set.
If you're technically savvy in any way (and use, say, Nero), you could even skip the CD stage... And burn an image... Or you could use FLAC Frontend to convert to WAV then use iTunes to convert to MP3... THere are really endless possibilities to make the file easily obtained in other places...

Yeah, something about the way Paul comes in early and the twang of the guitar... and the fact that it sounds generally unfinished and tinny IMO, had me thinking of the PP demo's.
P.S. nice new photo, I'm thinking I know which *type* of teacher the 9th grade boys are gunna label you.

So us guys in Europe have been denied the new album (until Maple Music came to my rescue!), any tour dates, and now the new song! Hardly fair, is it?

If I were you, I'd be demanding a Magna Carta for European Hip fans from the new managment. What about your needs? I mean they've really put you guys at the back of the que and treated you like a trip to the Loo.
It's probably easier to get chips with gravy on them over there than it is Hip stuff. So no, it doesn't seem fair, govna.

This is just a thought I had; maybe someone else has posted it though. Anyways, why couldn't The Hip put of singles with B-sides? Say VC with perhaps fighter fighter(live), Nashville with Night is for Getting and so on. They must have at least 3-5+ songs recorded and cut from IBE. I know I for one would love to pay say $3-$5 for a single with a b-side.
Radiohead for instance put out 10 b-sides from their last album and I bought them all, I as a fan of the band eat that shit up!
anyone else agree?

i think they should just release a rarities disc with as many b-sides demos outakes alternates ect. as possible on it.

Jenna, I totally agree. Bumblebee was the first thing I thought of when I heard Night Is For Getting. I was actually going to post something about that, but balked thinking I was the only one and everyone would think I was nuts.
Anyway, although I don't mind the new track, it sure doesn't stand out. But I'll take what I can get.
