Ouch!

C'mon.....try and tell me the Leafs wouldn't have made this series at least a little more interesting.

cferneyh Wrote:As for you Habs fans, whining about the CBC, whining about the officiating, and whining about Don Cherry? Man, you'd think your team was down 2-0.

So you're saying that Cherry was right, and that the HNIC commentary is accurate and perceptive?

If by "interesting", you mean a closer series...then perhaps, but that doesn't really interest me at all, i'd much rather watch Montreal continue to own a team that they've owned all year long and beyond.

Not at all - I only saw the OT. I'm just saying, for guys of a team that is up 2-0, you sure are a cantankerous bunch.

 fair enough.. But the reffing was bad, and it has been pretty bad in other series' as well. I hope this isn't indicative of how its going to be for the rest of the playoffs... It seems like in years past the refs just let the players go a little bit

The Sea of Red will be out in full force at the Saddledome tonight. Damn I love playoffs. GO FLAMES!!!

Did anyone else see the Thoreson interviewed on TSN? He said that he doesn't wish that pain on anyone, and when asked what his girlfriend though, he said "she was happy the nuts alright".

 I love when athletes tell it the way it is!

DAMNET! As I write this, Boston just scored!

FUCK!

:x

What a crazy start to the Flames game tonight...

- The Darkest Canuck - 04-13-2008

HOLY SHIT! The Sharks are living up to their name, and just absolutely ripping the Flames apart!

- laliber - 04-13-2008

Big hit now a goal!

- j-monster - 04-13-2008

Gotta hand it to Boston... imagine your home playoff game going up against Sawx-Yankees, and thus having so many Hab fans in your home rink. OK, not the worst thing in the world, but it sucks all the same. But they pull it off in OT, and now the Habs have a series on their hands.

That Sarich hit on Marleau was SICK!

I'll be cheering for Pittsburgh tomorrow for sure... they need to win to go up 3-0 and basically put this miserable-looking Sens team out of their, well, misery. Reports are now that Spezza might miss that game... though the way he's played the first two games it's no great loss, hell his teammates might not even notice the difference.

god damn i love playoff hockey...that was a sweet win by the flames, definitely one i thought they had a snowballs chance in hell to win after the first 3 minutes :thumb:

- direwolf74 - 04-14-2008

What a comeback! That first period was just brutal. I was shocked by how badly the Flames were stinking it up. But give 'em full credit for taking over the game and storming back the way they did. Cujo was awesome in relief of Kipper, and that monster hit by Sarich on Marleau was a thing of beauty. Gotta love playoff hockey.
