Well obviously I am a Habs fan but the Pens just are not the same without Crosby...and of course Malkin so you have somewhat of an excuse but also Carey is awesome and the Habs are playing well. This league needs to do something about HEADSHOTS horrible to have the best player in the game out!!!!!

Look at the replay in its entirety, i.e. dont focus on a snapshot that seeks to prove a particular point. IMO there is clear intent to interfere, but to rule it was premeditaded intentional action leading to this horrible outcome is questionable. I guess only Chara really knows. The league is pleagued by cheap shots and unecessary violence, way too many examples officials should be coming down on, but maybe not this one. I can't completely disagree with the non-suspention call.

Not sure how that addresses the dozen hits they showed all of which were similar, and none of which received a suspension.
Don Cherry doesnt hand out suspensions.

No but he sides with the league and then makes asinine comments when organizations try and hold the NHL accountable and want something done about it.

That loss last night was hard to take as a Rangers fan. The 2nd period was probably the highlight of the entire season...3 goals including 2 in a 7 second span, a couple of huge saves by Lundqvist, the building as loud as i've ever heard it mocking Bruce Boudreau, etc. Only to have the Caps storm back in the 3rd to score 3 unanswered goals to send the game to OT. Very disappointing.
That OT goal was horrible, just a very bad decision by Gaborik as Lundqvist had the puck under control & was about to cover it. Had the Rangers been able to hold onto the 3-0 lead i really liked their chances, but now down 3-1, it'll be next to impossible to come back against he top seeded Caps.

Last night's game was one of the most satisfying moments of these playoffs so far. If the Canucks continue to crap the bed and the Hawks win in 7, that would absolutely make my spring. I hate Chicago too, but they're definitely the lesser of two evils in this situation. GO HAWKS!

This was a good reminder of why one shouldn't read the comments section on TSN.ca. Everyone's whining that it's not just like the old Jets logo. It's not the same franchise. Going with the military theme was a bit of a gamble. When I was young, my dad was in the Air Force, so I immediately recognized the main logo as an homage to the old emblem of the RCAF. My dad is totally digging the CF-18 on the logo. Being in Winnipeg, it makes sense. I personally really like the crest with the crossed sticks. Like with anything new, it'll take time to grow on people.
