Fleury makes me nervous.
it will be interesting to see how Mason performs in his second year for sure.
Ward had no chance on any goal last night.

Fleury has to stand on his head tonight for sure. I feel a break out for Geno and Co. tonight!!
It is gonna be a long day before face-off.

Yeah PENS!! :jump
I watched the replay on FSN Pittsburgh. Great to see Sarge (Gonch) and...Great save on Ovie by Flower early and twice....but then Ovie took a charge at Geno at the 5 min. mark of the 2nd. Geno evaded it and Cheapo Ovie bashed his own line mate, sending him to the bench. Then Ovie (in the 18 min mark of the 3rd) took a run at Gonchar away from the puck, he should be looked at, he is cheap shot and reckless. :censored
I am glad that a-holes season is over. He was asked in interview after game what was said between him and Gonch and he said he apologize did not mean to hurt Gonch. When asked if Gonch accepted apology he simply said he did not know, and time to move on. That means 'heck no' Gonch did not accept his fake apology. Glad this is the last I need to see or hear of him this year.
Sid showed why people talk about him so much. He is a stud. Hope for Carolina, only for home ice, but we will see.

As Gord Downie said in Boston recently "I have seen this movie too many times...". Congratulations to the Canes. Great series. Bruins did not play well earlier in the series and it cost them. They played great in Games 5 & 6, but we just couldn't finish the deal. This one is going to sting for a long time.....
Can't wait for the show @ Massey Hall tonight.....

Re: NHL -

i like the matchup too. hoping for pens-wings part deux. seeing hossa on the losing end would be the icing on the cake of this sweet run.
knocking out the flyers on their home ice-check
waving bye bye to ovechkin & semen, also on their home ice- check
jordan shutting down eric-??
hossa eating his lunch-??
1/2 way there

I like the way you think. Unfinished business. We have to get there.

The East has no chance vs The West no matter which teams go through. That being said, the Blackhawks have no chance vs Detroit.
They do it well. They do it pretty. They do it ugly.
Love them or hate them, if you dig hockey you gotta admit they are a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
Re: NHL -

WRONG! Penguins will win it all, and if somehow Carolina get through, they'll pull off the upset on the strength of Cam Ward.

Agreed. The Red Wings are a freakin' machine. I just can't see anybody beating that team in a 7-game series.
