Here's a tip for all of you attempting to get tickets. Type your credit card number into a word processor before 11 am. Then copy this number and keep in on your clipboard to use in the ticketmaster website. Remember... time is of the essence, you cannot afford searching around your keypad, and fumbling your card for the digits of your Credit Card #. All the best, and no pressure!

You could also pre register at TM and have you credit information already setup. Then go to TheHip.com, and when you return back you will still be logged in to your account.

Is it unethical/unfair to offer my time to someone who cannot reach a computer for the on-sale time? I live in Halifax, have no intention of going to the show, but would like to help someone here go... any thoughts?

Well if you are planning on doing it with your credit card, that is against the ticket policy for this show. I don't know how/if it would work with you using someone else's CC.
That's some serious trust but a nice offer nonetheless!

Yes, of course I would use someone else's CC number, but that person would have to trust me. I just thought I would offer my time/services to someone unlucky enough to not be near a computer at noon...

I offer to help someone get tickets, who doesn't have access to a computer... however: if someone doesn't have access to a computer, how in Sam Hain are they supposed to reply to me here???

I guess the link on ticketmaster will appear at 11 because there appears to be nowhere on ticketmaster.ca right now that says anything about the show
