THERE IS NOW A 17 MINUTE CLIP OF THE HIP PERFORMANCE FROM SASQUATCH AT THIS LINK. SONGS SHOWN:

RINK
TRY
FULLY
POETS
(Drop-Off is listed as being played, but it is not. Sad )

Click on the link and when the page loads go to the bottom and click "More Sasquatch". When the page loads, go to the bottom again and click "View All Sasquatch". When the page loads click on The Hip link and the 17 minute clip begins. I have a broadband connection and view most internet media without problem. The first half of this clip seems to be edited in a stop and go style, and the last half of the clip streams perfectly. I don't know if this was done on purpose or if it might be my internet connection screwing up. Every time I reload the clip it does the same thing. Oh well. The audio is perfect and you can hear two of the new songs. Gord is full of energy in his voice and on stage actions!!

VERY AWESOME!!! :jump :jump :jump

I'm going to torrent these FLACS. Check out the tracker in a few mins!

- Cobbaygeon - 06-01-2006

Should I bother torrenting this video?

- sean.bonner - 06-01-2006

Oh yeah, definetly torrent the video to! Its just I know theres people like me who like their good ol' audio collection, but don't have the know-how as to how to get the audio from something like this. Go right ahead!

I'm never one for saying that a hip song rocks the first time I hear it, or calling it my favourite song -- especially when it's a live version.

But I think I have to make an exception.

Try is a fantastic song. Absolutely outstanding. There's something special about that song, believe you me.

Take care guys.

Ugh...it's soo choppy. Everyone STOP watching it for a minute..okay for 17 minutes jk Wink

- hotmetal401 - 06-01-2006

Try has a very "Puttin' Down" kind of sound to me... but better, if for no other reason than the Ontario-ari-ari-o line.

I think I still like Rink better though. Very pumped for the record and more importanly Fort York

Cheers,

Pat

torrented

- Cobbaygeon - 06-01-2006

It's choppy, but I'd like to retry later and hopefully get a smoother video. At least it's available

- thedaver39 - 06-01-2006

wow - that was great! I am officially ready for my Pittsburgh/Lewiston trip! "Try" sounds great - sound like a radio-friendly single to me!
