I can't believe no one else is going nuts about this.
It looks pretty much confirmed. I wonder when the official anouncement will be made.
I'm seriously thinking of going if this is true.

Rory,
The lady and I have been talking and we're going to try and work it out. I'll keep you posted. We just have to check the funds and we'll let you know.

Not to be a pain in the ass.......but when's the official anouncement coming from the hip I wonder?!?!?
I want to make concrete plans to travel out East.
Hey Darren (Highlander), are you going to make the trek to PEI too?
- thehip11 - 05-01-2006
I've been emailing back and forth with Kim Green. I've got a few more details. The festival in PEI is from June 29th until July 2nd.
Ticket info will be available mid May and the price will be around $45-$50 for a three day pass.
The bands would be spread out over all days and she confirmed with me as well that the hip, Sam Roberts, Matt Mays & El Torpedo and Joel Plakett are all booked for the festival.

So if/when this happens, who will actually be going? It'll be cool to meet some fellow hipbasers.

I got another email from Kim Green, and it's official.
"Spread the word...the Hip is booked to come to the Festival of the Lights June 30th...others include Matt Mayes, Sam Roberts, Joel Plaskett, 2 Hours Traffic..."
