I'll dip my little pinkie toe into this subject. Fake breasts are nice to look at and all, but I prefer natural ones simply because fake ones look too perfect. I might get flamed for this, but women would try too hard to get that perfectly shaped body and augment their bodies for purely cosmetic reasons spend a little too much time working their abs and not their neurons.

I'm going out on a limb here, but it's just possible that women pursue physical beauty over intellectual development because mainstream society reinforces the idea that beauty is more desirable, and therefore more necessary, than intellect.

Case in point - Jessica Simpson. We have a woman on TV, in movies and with a recording career (of sorts) who revels in her stupidity. Really. She seems quite content to be stupid - or to be considered stupid, anyway. Can you imagine if she was incredibly smart and ugly? And she reveled in her unattractiveness? I'm sure there are freak shows on cable with that very theme, but they're not getting the cover of People magazine, are they?

On the other hand, I'm incredibly attractive and incredibly brilliant. So, you know - it's all academic for me. I don't have to choose. Tongue
