The boys just finished. For all those wondering what time they will be on, they are introduced by Don Cherry almost exactly one hour into the broadcast, so roughly 8 PM local time. What a beautiful version of the song...

I haven't seen gord with the three day beard in a long time. nice rendition of "it's a good life" ... pretty tame, gord looked a little unsure at the every end as he just stood at the mic and waited till ron mclean said something....
the lyrics are pretty fiiting i suppose.
any one else think they have a song which would have suited the moment better?

I can't imagine a better song and I thought it was a great performance. Nice to see Gord looking like a Man with the growth. I thought he sounded great. Looked a bit stoned. I thought the tone really fit the evening.

Perfect song for the occasion. I'm not the biggest 'Good Life' fan, but I can't think of a more fitting song.
I also have more appreciation for that song now.

It was a great job by the boys. Paul really belted it out. Good little comment from Grapes about them being the "best band in the world". haha
BTW, Blue Rodeo and Rush both gave great performances also, and I enjoyed Cockburn's guitar work on his song.

Good Life was better than I've seen in awhile... with Paul's mic tuned up and Gord hitting his notes.. nicely it was a good hip moment for me on a regular work night....

Awesome choice of song, and great performance. Sure other songs would have been good choices too, but Good Life really set the tone well, and the boys did a great job of it.
Good Life is quickly becoming one of my favourite Hip songs to hear live! Thanks guys! :thumb:
