I got 4 tickets to Sydney row 5 in the centre. I called at 10:30 and there were front row available in the section 32 (right) but I took the row 5 centre tickets. 5 rows back is good. For Halifax, the lady on the phone seemed a little rude but anyway I only managed 15th row on the floor. That was the closest I was told. Still, row 5 and row 15 on the floor for two Hip shows sounds great to me! Why the increase in ticket price by the way? Almost 50 bucks for a show seems high but I'm willing to pay it.

Since I haven't seen the Hip live in a couple of years I don't mind the price for a couple of shows. It's the going rate pretty much these days.

Hmm. Got tickets for Sydney in the mail yesterday. All seemed fine. Then I received my Metro Centre tickets in the mail today. They are not the seats I ordered. I got four tickets to sect 54 row 5. Maybe these are better tickets. They're closer anyway.

All righty, folks! So alot of us are going to these shows (if not, only Halifax). I suggest we do a pre-show gathering before the Hfx show. What say you, Mr Kikuchi? Darren? Neil? Those coming from PEI?

Why not? I personally am a big fan of a sports-ish pub down on Grafton or Granville (the cobblestone street) called Peddler's. It's big and wide open, and the music is always good. It's a better place for group chatting due to the space than somewhere like Split Crow or Lower Deck.

Anyway, do any of you guys know where section 54 is in the Metro Centre? Is it a floor section because if it's not, I'm going to be angry! I ordered floor seats and got tickets in section 54. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is floor. 50, 51 and 52 are in front of the stage (l-c-r) so if I remember correctly, 53, 54 and 55 are behind them on the floor. I think you're one section back from the stage, in the centre.
